Boulevard Lounge Sweeps Title Series

AUGUST 6 - Boulevard Lounge beat Boulevard Men's Shop 12-11 in game one of the Minor League championship series. The Lounge batting attack was led by Mike Bannias with two singles and a double. Joe Bruno had a double and a single and Joe Vargo a double. Jim Walsh pitched three good innings to pick up the win. The loss went to Alan Kohr. Dave Pyzola led Men's Shop with a triple and a single and Ralph Ferrari had two singles.

AUGUST 8 - Boulevard Lounge took game two of the Minor League championship series 12-10 over Boulevard Men's Shop. Paul Dulavitch had a triple with the bases loaded in the fifth inning to lead the Lounge over the Men's Shop. Other batting stars for the victors were Mike Bannias with a double and four runs scored, and Joe Vargo. The winning pitcher was Jim Walsh and Steve Ducouer took the loss. Batting stars for Men's Shop were Dave Pyzola with a triple and single, Ralph Ferrari with two singles, and Rocky Esposito with a double and single.
