Phase three of the park development included the building of a new inground swimming pool. The new pool would not be as large as Moore pool, but it would serve the residents of East Brookline in excellent fashion, and would include a children's wading pool, complete with a Hippopotamus. Pool construction began in the summer of 1981 and was completed a year later in time for the 1982 Junefest.

This is the completed pool in the summer of 1998, sixteen years
after its dedication by the late-Mayor Richard Caligiuri.

The wading pool is just right for the little ones.
