Proposal for Completion of The Point - 1961
|
Among the many proposals put forth for the finishing phase of Point State Park development was this three-pronged spire. Rising as tall as the tallest building in the city skyline, this monstrosity was given some consideration, then turned down in favor of a more sensible solution. Thank God for the level-headed individual who put forth the idea for a fountain. Our generation and those who come afterwards will be forever thankful. |
