The Point in 1926 during the height of the Roaring Twenties. Barge and railroad traffic were a constant site in this busy metropolis. Pittsburgh was like a hub around which the pace of industry and commerce in America turned. Most goods bound for destinations east, west, north and south moved through the shipping yards along the Monongahela and Allegheny Rivers.
