This is a drawing by City Engineers of a proposed reconfiguration of the Point, submitted in 1913. Traffic at the intersection of the two bridges was increasing exponentially and ideas were being discussed on ways to facilitate the movement of the increasing number of automobiles. This proposal was never implemented.
