WEEK #2 - September 1, 2007
8-UNDER
BROOKLINE 8 - Carlynton 6 (OT)
Scoring Summary:
Christian Frazier run (Aaron Owens run)
NOTE: All defense until the last ten minutes. Great runs up
the middle by Christian Frazier and Aaron Owens, and a fine
defensive stop on the one yard line to stop the Carlynton
conversion attempt and seal the victory.

9-UNDER
Carlynton 28 - BROOKLINE 14
Scoring Summary:
Taylor Thornton run (conversion failed)
Nick Manuel run (Austin Liebro run)
NOTE: The young ones felt the sting of defeat, but they didn't
quit. They kept fighting and ended the game on a positive note
when Nick Manuel and Austin Liebro found the endzone in the
final seconds. Our thoughts are with Loren Wicks and we pray
for his speedy recovery.

10-UNDER
BROOKLINE 30 - Carlynton 0
Scoring Summary:
Connor McGinnis run (Khalil Sanders pass from Connor McGinnis)
Connor McGinnis run (Joey Kalsek run)
Khalil Sanders run (Connor McGinnis run)
David Suwalski pass from Connor McGinnis (conversion failed)
NOTE: This team is very good. Connor McGinnis and Khalil
Sanders have been lighting up the scoreboard, with quite a
supporting cast, and a very stingy defense that dominates
opponents. One Cougar almost got away, but Sanders had the
angle and dropped him with a fine tackle along the sideline.

11-UNDER
BROOKLINE 42 - Carlynton 6
Scoring Summary:
Ricardo Burch run (Domonique Betton run)
Domonique Betton run (Ricardo Burch run)
Ricardo Burch run (Domonique Betton run)
Damel Banks run (conversion failed)
Will Dean pass from Russell Page (conversion failed)
Jacob Elk run (conversion failed)
NOTE: Quite a dominating performance from top to bottom, just
like the game before. Ricardo Burch and Domonique Betton put
on a scoring clinic in the first half and the team coasted
from then on. Good defense, too.

13-UNDER
Carlynton 34 - BROOKLINE 0
NOTE: The older Cougars took revenge for the two previous
poundings. Johnathan Kalsek showed some nice moves, but
couldn't get free. Maybe next time.
