These photos show Creedmoor
Avenue from Brookline Boulevard through to Freedom Avenue back in
1919. Sewer lines are being laid in preparation for paving of the
street with belgian blocks. The photos show many of the homes when
they were relatively new. The Great War had just ended and the
country was entering a time of prosperity. Brookline was growing
rapidly and infrastructure improvements were in progress throughout
the community.
