The 39-Brookline trolley approaches Breining Street on its way back up towards the Boulevard. Looking at the area behind and to the right, it is amazing how much the view has changed. The Senior Highrise is now to the right and the entire area where the tracks are laid is paved parking. Behind the trolley would be the area where the J&K convenient store parking is located, and further back is the entrance to Brookline Park. However, back then, to the right was the shopping center with Manco Pharmacy and the Coin-Op Laundromat, and behind to the right is nothing but woods and a large ravine. The march of time can sometimes produce dramatic changes.
