West Liberty Avenue was totally reconstructed in 1915. A new roadway, infrastructure, and trolley line was built. During the construction project, the trolley line remained in service. Here, two 39-Brookline cars pass a construction crew near the intersection with Capital Avenue on their way towards downtown.
