Since the Summer of 2005, the
Brookline Recreation Center has hosted a series of yearly Car Cruises,
attracting a fine selection of classic vehicles and a host of dedicated
car enthusiasts. The car shows are a big hit among the local citizenry.
Each year the crowds grow, as well as the assortment of vehicles. From
5pm to dark, the park is alive with history.
A great deal of credit for the
success of the events goes to Recreation Center Director Michelle
Underwood and her good friend Bob Grieco. Their tireless dedication
and effort has made the Brookline Recreation Center Car Cruises a fun
and friendly place for friends and neighbors to gather and share their
fondness for muscle cars and classic vehicles of all makes and
models.
