Chartiers Valley 6 - BROOKLINE 0
NOTES: Brookline Little Knights lost another close game, this
time 6-0 to Chartiers Valley. The Colts scored on the first
play of the game, then held off the Knights to earn a shutout.
The Brookline defense again played a fine game, holding the
Colts at bay after that first quick score to give the offense
a fighting chance to come back.
The Knights got good runs from Max Marzina, Mark Jameson, Kaden
Wysong and Tristan Pezzelle, but were not able put together a
sustained touchdown drive. The Knights record falls to 0-3.

NOTES: The Brookline Nines continued their unbeaten, unscored
upon streak by stomping the Chartiers Valley Colts 34-0. The
Knights attack was led by the fleet-footed Keshawn Harris, who
scored another three touchdowns to bring his season total to
nine. Will Coleman and A'Mirre Brown added their six cents and
Brookline converted on four of five attempts (one point each).
On defense, Dimajio Locante had over ten tackles to his credit
and Quinnie Walker added another eight. The two-man wrecking
crew kept the Colts in the cage all morning. Their stellar play
brought everyone's game up a notch.
Next week Coach Jason and the Nines take on the West Allegheny
Indians in a battle of PYFL powerhouses. Let's work hard this
week and be prepared to storm the reservation. Go Knights!

NOTES: The Junior Nines brought their season record to 2-1 with
a 19-0 shutout victory over Chartiers Valley. Maurice Trent had
two long touchdown runs and quarterback Mario Grannison added a
third as Brookline's offense ran roughshod over the Colts.
The Knights defense earned their first shutout with a strong
team effort. Amiri Colbert-Anderson registered a nice sack.

NOTES: Zaire Nelson scored on Brookline's first possession with
a fifty-five yard dash down the sideline to stake the Knights
to an early 6-0 lead. Chartiers Valley countered late in the
first half with a touchdown pass, then added the point after to
take a 7-6 lead into the halftime break.
Both offenses stumbled through the second half. The Knights got
a few sparks from quarterback Branndon Pezzelle, but not enough
to ignite a scoring drive. On defense, Micah Brown played a
fine game, recovering a fumble and making several good tackles.

NOTES: The eleven-year old Knights earned their third victory
of the season with a 28-0 shutout over the Chartiers Valley
Colts. Raeshawn Caldwell was once again the dominant force on
offense with three touchdowns. Quarterback Antwan Peterson
threw for 161 yards to fuel the Knight attack. Jamyle Liebro
had three receptions for eighty-two yards and a six-pack.
On defense, Brookline throttled the Colts with their brand of
hard-hitting, bone-crunching football. Ryan Elliott played a
great game on the front line. Others who put the big hurt on
the Colts were Liebro, Caldwell, Visawn Pennix and Mekhi Gay,
earning the Knights their third shutout in three games. It
was another excellent team effort by Coach Joe's warriors.
At halftime the Knight cheerleaders took the field and put
on a fine performance. The girls aced their routine, and on
the sidelines did a wonderful job keeping the Knights fans
energized with some catchy cheers. With the game going all
Brookline's way, the girls had plenty to cheer about!
