The Brookline Mural was painted in 1996. The wall stood bare for sixty years until becoming what some would consider the Community Welcome Mat. The Mural is located on the Boulevard loop, between Aidyl Avenue and Pioneer Avenue. It welcomes motorists heading into Brookline Boulevard from West Liberty Avenue. The mural is maintained by the Brookline Area Community Council and Boy Scout Troop#6.
