The images above show the growth and development of the Brookline neighborhood from an aerial perspective. The 2005 image was made from satellite images, while the 1967, 1957 and 1939 views were obtained from Penn Pilot. The 1939 image shows how much farmland was still in use at that time. As the years progressed the rich agricultural land became residential, educational, recreational and commercial properties.
